Property description

Exclusive villa in Makarska riviera, second row to the sea.

The location is very private and peaceful. The area of the villa is 259 m2 – it has 3 apartments (ground floor and three floors) and was built on a land plot of 380 m2.

The ground floor has a storage room (can be turned into a wine cellar) with terrace. The first floor has a spacious two-bedroom apartment – 2 bedrooms, bathroom, foyer, kitchen and dining room, living room with built in fireplace and a large terrace with amazing panoramic view of the sea and the islands.

The second floor has two one-bedroom apartments with separate entrances – kitchen and living room, bedroom, bathroom, foyer, balcony and terrace with outdoor fireplace.

The third floor has a spacious garage for two cars and outdoor parking. The villa is oriented to the sea and has a panoramic view of the sea and the islands that is impossible to block.

High quality materials were used in the construction of this villa, it is furnished for the most part and it is air-conditioned. It is very well designed from the outside and inside and it fits into the existing landscape of Mediterranean greenery and pines very well.

The villa is located only 40 m (second row to the sea) from an amazing pearly white pebble beach. Close to the house there is a small marina that offers both sea berths and dry berths.

There is also a natural lungomare that takes you to Brela (9 km) on one side and to Makarska (3 km) on the other.

More about Makarska

Makarska is the largest town that lies in the 200k coast between Dubrovnik and Split, 60k from Split. It was one of the first towns to have a large tourist industry in Croatia and is now where many people take their annual holiday. The town evolved around a large horseshoe bay with towering mountains behind. The clear sea, and palm fringed beaches, the fashionable restaurants, bars and active nightlife are many reasons why this town and area is known as the Makarska Riviera.

Real estate in Makarska and property in the Makarska area is modestly priced compared to the bigger towns of Dubrovnik and Split.

Anyone looking for a cheap property on the coast of Croatia should start here. The main reasons are the distance from the airports of either Split or Dubrovnik, and Croatian island property has certain exclusivity (Split airport is less than one and a half hours). If this was not a prohibitive factor then Makarska property is great value.

It has a longer tourist season and, being on the mainland, is generally quicker to reach than the islands.
