Property description

A beautiful stone villa in the first row to the sea, with a beautiful view and close to the historic town of Korcula.

The location of this magnificent house offers a spectacular view of the sea from all apartments, first row to the sea, yet within a short 20-minute walk along the sea to the town of Korcula. It is located on the plot of 700 m2.

It is a holiday home and also an excellent rental company that has been enjoying its incredible location for over 15 years.

The house itself is built on four floors with 5 separate apartments with a total living area of 335 m2.

There is a possibility that the main floor and loft apartments can be combined into one unit with 3 bedrooms at the top of the house, with the master bedroom en-suite and access to a terrace with sea views, the lower part is open plan with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.

To do so, only minor work is required and with the addition of a spiral staircase, all works were planned and prepared in advance during the original construction so that it can be easily converted if necessary.

All apartments face the sea. There is a separate storage/laundry room. The house also has a large garage and 4 outdoor parking spaces.

The gardens are landscaped and terraced, complementing the beautiful stone steps that descend towards the sea. In front of the house there is a beautiful beach with a stone mooring and the possibility of mooring a boat.

All furniture available by special arrangement.

More about Korcula

The Island of Korcula is nearly 30 miles long and 5 miles wide at the widest. It is the most Southern of the large islands and the closest to Dubrovnik. There are ferry services from Dubrovnik to the main town, also called Korcula, and Split has ferries to Vela Luka and Korcula town. There are other ferries from the main land to the island in the tourist season. Korcula town, the home town of Marco Polo, whatever the Italians are saying, is a major tourist destination in its own right.

Like Dubrovnik, it is an old fortified town and very little has changed to the streets and houses for 500 years. Away from Korcula town are many fabulous fishing villages around the coast.

For people searching for a cottage on Croatia's coast or Dalmatian coast property this has become a happy hunting ground. Real estate on Korcula island is always popular as it is many people's favourite island destination. It is the closest to Dubrovnik, is the most populated island, and has the most transport links to the mainland. We feel that Korcula property will always be a good investment for these reasons.
