Property description

We are offering this spacious old stone house, needing complete renovation, with a large roof terrace.

The property is situated 80m from the sea shore in the village of Kastela.

Kastela is a very historic area, with many old and charismatic buildings and narrow streets, between Split and Trogir, and named after the fact that it evolved around several medieval castles that were built along this part of the coast. Most are still standing, and from part of the local conservation area.

The building has a living area of 270m sq, and would make a very large family home or small hotel, catering for the increasing number of visitors to the area.

There is a ground, first and second floor, and attic leading onto the terrace. The ground floor has a kitchen, bathroom and a cellar, which has a separate entrance. The first floor has a kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms, while the second floor has 5 rooms leading from a hallway.

The building is in good condition, but internally needs complete modernisation.

Since the property is in the conservation area no other buildings can be erected or extended which would block the wonderful sea view from the roof terrace.

There are plenty of shops and bars in the area, recreational space down by the sea, and the airport is only 15 minutes by car.
