Property description
PRICE REDUCED FROM 400.000 EURO!!
We have this traditional old stone house, on three floors, in the centre of the small town on the north side of Hvar island.
The house is situated in a quiet location, with easy access by car and with private parking.
Within walking distance is the old harbour where there are several options of family run bars, coffee shops and cafes, as well as other useful shops and services for both tourists and the residents.
The sea is 150 m from the property.
It is Southwest oriented and has lovely views of the surrounding steep hills and villages.
The house has a living area of 230 m2, while the land measures 500 m2.
The house has had a new roof and was partially restored, with new concrete floors and stairs, new windows, doors and shutters.
The work was done to retain its original character, and good quality fittings and decorations were used to make this a very attractive property.
The garden has enough space to build a swimming pool, and it has been land-scaped and planted with herbs and Mediterranean plants to help create a very attractive private space.
Hvar is well connected with Split by ferry, catamaran or sea plane.

More about Hvar
Hvar Island is 2 hours by ferry from Split, and the main town on the island is also called Hvar, so be aware so you do not to become confused! It is considered the most exclusive of the Dalmatian islands for various reasons. It is noted as having the most sunshine hours of any place in the area and the main town of Hvar was once an important naval port for the Venetians. As such, it has disproportionately grand public buildings and squares giving the town a distinctly affluent feel.

Other than the main town Hvar island has a thriving agriculture and tourist industry.
The Hvar real estate business is always busy and there is a premium for commercial properties in Hvar town as it does become extremely busy in high Summer. Away from the main towns Hvar island property is more modestly priced.
