Property description
We are pleased to offer this NON COASTAL, newly rebuilt Dalmation house, 400m above sea level, near the centre of Brac island.
It is an inland village 7k from the coast, with a cooler micro climate than the coastal areas, very near the tourist attractions of Pustinja Blaca and Vidova gora, well known as health spas.
The house is a 2 story property, built with care using local stone and the finest materials.
The ground floor is 40m sq and consists of a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, boasting a superb fireplace made from local stone. There is also a covered terrace of another 40m sq.
Upstairs is a large bedroom, of 35m sq with beautiful views across the old olive groves and local farmland.
There is a large outdoor fireplace, and the garden has been designed with indigenous plants and stone, to ensure a minimum of maintenance is required, but still to be attractive and interesting.
The Seller is preparing the 'project documentation' for renovating the additional building (80 m2 ground floor + 80 m2 first floor), which is next to the existing house.
There is electricity, water, telephone and the waste is dealt with by septic tank.
The local village has a few coffee bars and shops.
There is good access to the island's airport, the ferry port and the other villages across the island.

More about Brac
The island of Brac is the largest (400 sq km) in Dalmatia and has the shortest ferry crossing from Split, about 40 minutes. It has a resident population all year and ferries go every few hours to Supetar. From there, there is an integrated public transport service about the island. Most people stick to the beautiful coast but inland it has stunning scenery and secluded meadows and olive and vine groves. The main towns are the Ferry terminal of Supetar, Milna, Postira, Splitska and Bol. You don't need to travel far to find your own secluded beach.
