We are now at the stage of renovating the building and we are waiting next year to invite our friends and family to vacation on the island.

Our buying process was complicated and often delayed by many external factors that were out of our control, including bureaucracy, postal delays and COVID. During the whole process, Lea (from the Supetar office) assisted us tirelessly from start to finish. She kept regular contact to inform us of how things were progressing. She put pressure on processes and people where needed to speed up the sale. And she ensured that everything was set up and utilities transferred into our name once the sale concluded. It's not the type of buying process we would want to go through again, but if we had to, we would want to be assisted by someone like Lea. During the summer we bought an apartment through CPS. Lea helped us through the process every step of the way. She explained Croatian processes (in English), drove us to and from the property and remains in contact with us, 6 months later, to offer help with anything we need.
