Property description

Croatia Property Sales are pleased to offer this modernised house in Trogir.

The property is positioned on the island of Trogir, part of the Trogir World Heritage site, and it is less than 3 minutes walk from the sea and Riva.

The house is of old Dalmatian style stone construction. The property has been completely refurbished to an excellent standard and is set out over four floors thus:

Ground floor is one lounge, bathroom and storage with stairs leading up to the first floor which is an open plan kitchen and to the second and top floor which are laid out as one bedroom and bathroom each.

It is well decorated and modernised with up to date heating, air-con, high speed internet.

The total residential area is 85m sq.

There is vehicle access within a few metres for deliveries etc but long term parking is 100m. This is controlled and there is an annual charge for this facility (cca 15 Euros). The old streets here are very narrow and this reduces the opportunity for every householder to park in front of their own property.

The area is a known locally as having some of the best restaurants on the coast, as well as the markets, and other shops; there are concerts and clubs catering for many tastes. There is a large ACI marina and the keyside at Trogir is the regular berth of the largest boats that come to the area, as it is the deepest.

There is a possibility to obtain moorings/berth.

The airport is only 10 minutes away by car; buses and ferries regularly go to Split.

More about Trogir/Ciovo

The Town of Trogir is another fantastic jewell in the crown of Croatian tourist destinations, just 20 minutes from the airport. Just like Dubrovnik it is a medaeval walled town and has been declared a World Heritage site which has UNESCO protection.

It is a small but lively tourist hub and is especially well known to the many celebrities who visit Croatia as it is the starting point for sailing holidays.

It has some of the best restaurants in Croatia and all the ammeneties one would expect in a busy tourist centre. It also has a boat taxi service to Split, which takes about an hour.

There are opportunities to buy property in Trogir itself and these are mostly apartments tucked away in streets hundreds of years old and full of character. One consideration before buying Croatian property and especially real estate in Trogir is to ensure the title to the property is clear. For many generations, Croatian real estate has been handed down the family without legal registration and now that some of these families are selling Trogir real estate on the open market for the first time, it is essential that you are sure the property has the correct title and registration. However, this situation has ensured that there are many investment and refurbishment opportunities in Trogir real estate.

The island of Ciovo is also partly covered by the world heritage protection but has 'party beaches' and several fisherman's settlements. The popularity of these beaches makes Ciovo property popular as a place to invest in Croatian real estate. Secluded coastal property is always popular with investors of property in Croatia and there are some of these on Ciovo, but few come to the market.
