Amazing shore side renovation  opportunity......... but needs a boat!

Croatia Property Sales are pleased to offer this very unusual opportunity to renovate an isolated old fishing hut on Vis Island. The building is a semi-detached property.

It is situated just a few yards from the sea on a large plot in a beautiful bay on the south side of the island, facing the sea and some other nearby islands.

There is no road to the bay, so the only access is by boat. There are a couple of other dwellings in the bay, but the general area is pristine nature and the area is miles away from any area allowing development.

The ‘area plan’ does not allow rebuilding or upgrading, only for renovation, in the existing dimensions. Internally you can make any alterations you want.

There is 40m sq of residential space, the plot behind the house is 800m sq and the house comes with another 2200m sq of land nearby.

The house has water and electric supplied and mooring and access can be arranged.

Vis is the furthest habited island from Split, and it is not possible to get and leave it by ferry on the same day.

The people who visit the island regularly swear that it is the most beautiful habited island and its remoteness adds to its mystery!

More about Vis

Vis is the furthest large inhabited island from the mainland of Croatia. The ferry takes 2 hour 30 minutes and it is not possible to visit and return from the island in 1 day. It has a population of several thousand people, so has all the modern amenities one would expect. Shops, restaurants, bars etc. are all present but perhaps a little more basic than other tourist 'hotspots'. Sailors love it and most visitors and people who have bought property on Vis love it for its quiet isolation. The wild life, especially in the sea, is a considerable draw for divers, and the hundreds of tiny beaches are often deserted in high summer.

Many people have bought property on Vis and its big charm is in its seclusion.

Vis real estate will always hold its value as there will never be a time when people looking to buy property in Croatia or property on the islands around Croatia are not asking for 'Property off the beaten track on Vis', or 'secluded or isolated properties on Vis'.
