Property description

PRICE REDUCED FROM 795.000 EUR!!

Croatia Property sales are offering this superbly renovated island holiday Villa.

It is situated on Vis island, the most distant of the inhabited islands, on a hill with unobstructed views all round. The sea is 850m.

The house has an unusual history. It was formerly the island school, and many of the interesting architectural features have been retained.

It is a property with 300m sq of residential flooring. Including 6 bedrooms and five bathrooms. The plot is 1039m sq and the swimming pool is 30m sq.

On the ground floor are a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, (area 88m sq) the first floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, (area 85m sq) and an attic which has 2 bedrooms and a bath room. There is also a cellar 43m sq and below the property is a water tank.

There is parking for several cars on the premises, but since there are no near neighbours, space for a car will never be an issue!

Very few people live on the island throughout the whole year, and the majority of tourists to the Dalmatia don't visit it either, but the few people who have chosen Vis as a destination for their second love it for its charm and natural state.

There are shops with essential items, restaurants, bars and other facilities, and any number of near deserted coves and beaches to enjoy.

More about Vis

Vis is the furthest large inhabited island from the mainland of Croatia. The ferry takes 2 hour 30 minutes and it is not possible to visit and return from the island in 1 day. It has a population of several thousand people, so has all the modern amenities one would expect. Shops, restaurants, bars etc. are all present but perhaps a little more basic than other tourist 'hotspots'. Sailors love it and most visitors and people who have bought property on Vis love it for its quiet isolation. The wild life, especially in the sea, is a considerable draw for divers, and the hundreds of tiny beaches are often deserted in high summer.

Many people have bought property on Vis and its big charm is in its seclusion.

Vis real estate will always hold its value as there will never be a time when people looking to buy property in Croatia or property on the islands around Croatia are not asking for 'Property off the beaten track on Vis', or 'secluded or isolated properties on Vis'.
