Character property in Sibenik Old Town requiring renovation

We have this character property offering great potential in the heart of Sibenik, steps away from the city's main promenade and all tourist attractions.

It consists of apartments spreads over 3 floors with a floor area of 79,50 sq m internally, with 1 sq m balcony on the top floor.

The entrance into the property is on the first floor (from the street level), and here there are two windows, a hallway, bedroom and bathroom.

Second floor is sized 27,50 sqm and it consists of open-plan kitchen and dining area, featuring two windows as well, facing the street side on the north.

On the third floor, sized 22 sqm, there is a living room.

This room has seven windows, two of which are looking at the sea.

The property needs renovating – stone walls have already been cleaned and part of the beams changed.

Wiring and plumbing have been put throughout the apartment, leaving many choices to the future owner with regards to the layout and finishing.

The local area is quiet but close to restaurants and the cafes/bars which are attractive and popular to tourists.

More about Sibenik

Sibenik is about an hour drive from Split, 80 km north. It is a fabulous tourist destination built around the magnificent Cathedral. The old town is built up the steep hillside from the Riva, giving the appearance that almost every house in Sibenik has a sea view. Kornati National Park, hundreds of tiny islands, uninhabited and protected, make Sibenik a destination with a difference for most tourists.

It has a more relaxed feel than Zadar or Split but it is still a sought after holiday destination. It is close to Skradin village, at the foot of the Krka National Park where Bill Gates has taken some of his holiday's for many years.

Sibenik property is more modestly priced than Split. Many Sibenik houses are built with old Dalmatian stone and are often very narrow and tall. It is possible to have a property in Sibenik of 15 sq m going up 5 levels with a roof terrace and sea views. Villas in Sibenik line the coast road North and South and apartments and flats in Sibenik vary in price depending on size and location, but some of them are very reasonably priced.
