Property description

PRICE REDUCED FROM 390.000 EURO FOR A QUICK SALE!

Secluded and peaceful sea ranch on the south-west part of the island of Brac, very close to Milna.

This large property (7.000 m2) surrounded by a stone privacy wall, consists of two newly built stone houses (each measuring 80 m2) and a swimming pool.

The fledgling olive orchard, pine copse and natural setting is the perfect getaway for families or a small group of friends.

The 2 stone cottages are newly built in country style, with wooden beam ceilings, indoor-outdoor tile, authentic Brac stone and traditional slate roofs, an unusual architectural feature nowadays. There is only one stone master on Brac, who crafts these roofs.

Each cottage has a country indoor/outdoor kitchen (with stone oven), 2 bedrooms, bathroom and sitting room.

The central point of the property is the pool, which has several sitting areas, pretty views of the landscape and covered dining area with table for 8.

A traditional stone shepherd’s hut provides a cool respite during the day and a private retreat/game room for children and teens.

Both houses are fully finished and are ready to move in.

This property does not have a sea view, but it offers an exceptional peace and privacy.

More about Brac

The island of Brac is the largest (400 sq km) in Dalmatia and has the shortest ferry crossing from Split, about 40 minutes. It has a resident population all year and ferries go every few hours to Supetar. From there, there is an integrated public transport service about the island. Most people stick to the beautiful coast but inland it has stunning scenery and secluded meadows and olive and vine groves. The main towns are the Ferry terminal of Supetar, Milna, Postira, Splitska and Bol. You don't need to travel far to find your own secluded beach.

There is a small airport on the island for private planes. The most popular property sold on Brac are holiday apartments near the coastal villages, often recently built. A tightening of building rules means that less are now being built, so people are now looking for old Brac property to refurbish. On the island of Brac cottages are often seen along the coast and these occasionally come on the market but are keenly sought after.

Brac real estate is considered a good investment as Croatia is looking to improve her tourist industry.
