Croatia is the most popular destination among festival-goers who travel abroad to festivals. This is the result of a big survey conducted by Festicket, UK portal specialized in selling tickets and travel packages for most world music festivals. They surveyed 2,700 festival-goers who traveled to 80 festivals using Festicket's services.
Croatia is the leader among both international and British travellers, with 22 percent of internationals travelling to festivals, and 21 among British. Germany is a follow-up on both list, while Czech Republic is third on international and The Netherlands on UK list. Going abroad to attend festivals is a growing trend, 40 percent of all festival-goers are regularly travel to other countries.

For destinations with festivals, it's very important to hear that more than 60 percent of festival-goers tend to stay on vacation in places where they came because of the music event. A new trend is also seeking luxury accommodation, 80 percent plan to settle in over 100GBP per night hotels in 2014.
Festicket already sells packages for five Croatian festivals, Spring Break, Hideout and Sonus in Novalja, island Pag, Split's Ultra Europe, and Unknown Festival in Rovinj. Soon to come are Soundwave, SunceBeat and Fresh Island.
